is a social neuroscience and psychopathology lab at Case Western Reserve University, directed by Sarah Hope Lincoln, PhD.

About Us

We are a social neuroscience and psychopathology lab that studies the full array of social processes and how they might be disrupted in psychopathology. Although we aim to primarily use neuroscience methods (fMRI), we use a variety of different methodology including clinical assessment, neuropsychological testing, self-report, and ecological momentary assessment.

We study the neurobiology of social dysfunction across psychiatric disorders, though our main psychopathology of interest is the psychosis-spectrum. Additionally, we are interested in how social experiences (e.g., exclusion, discrimination) affect neurobiology leaving individuals at risk for later psychopathology and dysfunction.
